How to change your email or password

Both your email address and password are managed from your profile page. Here's how to update either one safely.

Open your profile

Sign in and go to your profile page (the account area at /profile). Everything related to your login lives there, split into a Personal Information section and a Password & Security section.

Change your email

In Personal Information, edit the Email Address field and click Save Changes. For your security, we send a confirmation link to the new address — your email isn't actually switched until you open that link and confirm. If you don't see the message, check your spam folder.

Change your password

In the Password & Security section, enter your current password, then your new password (at least 8 characters) and confirm it. Click Update password and you'll see a confirmation when it's done. If you've forgotten your current password and can't sign in, use the password-reset link on the login screen instead.
